Child-friendly ski resorts and prominent role models in Lenggries
Families with children not only appreciate the numerous easy and intermediate slopes in the Lenggries mountains, but also the three children's areas where youngsters can make their first turns under the expert supervision of the local ski schools. In the KinderSkiZirkus Villa Lustig on the Jauden slope and in the KinderSchneeLand on the Draxl slope, children are in the best of hands. Skiing and snowboarding are taught here in a child-friendly, professional and fun way. The little ones can be transported up the mountain on comfortable carpet and rope lifts.
The ski school of former ski racer Michi Gerg runs another children's area right next to the valley station of the Brauneck cable car. Michi Gerg is not the only sports celebrity from Lenggries. Successful ski racers such as Martina and Andreas Ertl as well as Hilde and Annemarie Gerg raced down the slopes here as children and still enjoy visiting their local mountain today.
