Information

From the mountain station (1,500 m), the trail climbs briefly up to the Brauneck summit cross (1,555 m) with a uniquely fascinating view of the Karwendel mountain range and northwards with a beautiful view of the Isar valley as far as Bad Tölz and, in good weather, as far as Munich. From here, the trail leads westwards past the paragliding and hang-gliding launch site, then along a path below the Schrödelstein, becoming more open on alpine pastures to the panorama trail.

Return via trail no. 1 ‘Panoramaweg’ or continue to trail no. 4 ‘Großen Höhenweg’ or continue to trail no. 5 ‘Almrundwanderweg’.
