FestIVAL on the mountain

A special day in the mountains awaits you:
Three bands play at different locations on the Brauneck and create unique sound experiences in the midst of nature. Whether comfortably on the cable car or after a hike - discover music in places that invite you to linger.

  • Music festival on the Brauneck - in the middle of alpine nature with a fantastic panorama.
  • Various music groups play unplugged for half an hour three times along the small high-altitude trail.
  • There is a half-hour break between the gigs so that you can "hike" to the acts.
  • There is no entrance fee for the FestIVAL.

Alphorn players Fischbachau

The festive sound of the alphorn enchants young and old and is a very special musical highlight in the great outdoors, up on the mountain.

With music in their blood and tradition in their hearts, the Alphonrbläser Fischbachau have been touring the foothills of the Bavarian Alps and the rest of the world since 1974. And in August they will be here with us on the Brauneck!

MOUNTAIN LAKE VISTA

A few wanderlust fantasies, a few crazy dreams - who doesn't have them? MOUNTAIN LAKE VISTA bring them to the stage, the living room or - in this case - the mountain!

The folk band from Holzkirchen, Bad Tölz and Munich focuses on powerful, polyphonic vocals. Together, Mountain Lake Vista create an authentic sound that is sometimes driving and sometimes quietly melancholy.

The Munich collective EXPRESS BRASS BAND has been celebrating an unmistakable brass band style for 25 years in the spirit of the Sun Ra Arkestra or the Art Ensemble of Chicago, deeply rooted in jazz, soul, afrobeat with influences of oriental music from the Maghreb to Afghanistan.
